Summer Sands Suites

Summer Sands continues to be THE place to stay at Wrightsville Beach. The rooms are nicely appointed with everything you need, always extremely clean (and I am a neat freak, so trust me, they are CLEAN), the staff is friendly and helpful, the location is walking distance to many things inclduding the beach, the pool area is lovely, and there are plenty of cover parking spots. There just isn't a single negative thing I can say. Stay here. You won't regret it!!

We stayed there about 9 years ago. It was supposed to just be a couple of days. We loved it so much, we kept adding on more days. To the point where our stay was going to interfere with someone else's booking. She, don't know her name, said she'd put them in a different room so we could stay. I'm heading south for the winter, looking for a stop along the way, and looked this place up, with fond memories. Going to try it again

First class rooms and service. Had a pet friendly room reserved. Arrived several hours earlier than check in and my room wasn’t yet ready, but they graciously moved me to another pet friendly room. The room itself was great with a full kitchen, living room area and bedroom. As a “pet friendly” room, I had no idea what it might look or smell like, but honestly I couldn’t tell that any other pet had ever been in this room. It was spotless. I only stayed a night on a business trip, but I will definitely be back for a longer stay.

I would highly recommend staying at Summer Sands! What an amazing stay I had here the last few days — every single person working in the office was kind, accommodating, and just so laid back. Megan in particular was extremely kind and helpful with her recommendation for how to get to the Azalea Parade! What stands out about Summer Sands is that it is CLEAN. No weird smells, no dirty bathroom grout, no worn and stained furniture and rugs. The room was SO spacious, had even a stove and dishwasher (!!!). There is coin-op laundry here as well for your beach items when you need! It’s also pet-friendly and seeing the dogs there was so fun! Not your typical motel by any means and very affordable considering it is a 60 second WALK to the beach. A big shoutout to Pam who was so kind and thorough when fixing up my room and replacing supplies (you are amazing!). Really, really looking forward to my next stay here!

After my last review, we thought about the timing of our last stay. It was 10 years ago. Doesn't matter. We stayed at the Summer Sands again last week. Dog friendly on the 1st floor. Kitchen had all the things you would probably have at home. Nice and clean. Comfortable. Easy access to the beach. Food and coffee shop close by, like right next door. Very friendly staff. We again stayed an additional night, just because. This time we were on the harbor side. Beautiful sunsets. Now that we snowbird to Florida, we'll be stopping there each way. Reasonable price. Dogs allowed on the beach after October until April? Text message updates and door key codes. If you're pulling a trailer, ask them what your options are as there is limited parking. Summer Sands was such a great visit. It's probably my 15th time staying. You can't ask for a better location. Everything is within walking distance. If you want to go shopping, beach it, restaurants, or grocery shopping (ROBERTS GROCERY). SEASCAPE PROPERTIES is the place to book. They were so helpful and fair. The rates were the best. We loved this place! So clean both inside room and in exterior areas. Recently updated. Awesome location and very easy access to beach. Seascapes rental agency was so attentive throughout whole process also.

I stayed here for a long weekend and had a lovely time! The location is just perfect, steps away from restaurants and the beach and the loop. The suite style was nice to have a little extra space than a standard hotel room. My parents stayed in the room next door and it didn't feel cramped to have them over for dinner. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I could smell South Beach Grill from the balcony which made me want to eat there every day! :)
